FAQ

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: Why are we boarding buses rather than taking our cars?

A: Part of our mission is sustainability. By removing hundreds of vehicles and transporting everyone in buses, we are lowering our carbon footprint by 65%.

Q: What time can I leave if the bus is my transportation?

A: Beginning at 12am (midnight) attendees will decide as a community when to leave. We will begin to shuttle buses back out to Honolulu when large enough groups of people decide to board.

The buses will not be able to leave unless they are full of passengers!

Q: What does a zero waste event mean?

A: This means you are brining your own plate, forks, spoons, and cups to eat and drink from!

We will not have recycling bins or trash cans; we will only have a compost section for left over foods.

We will leave the property as we found it, by challenging ourselves with these sustainable methods and practices.

Q: Why can't we bring our kids?

This is the first event we are transporting everyone on our experience buses. As there is alcohol available at the event, we want to ensure everyone is of age.

This is something we only see happening on our first event. Within the next three events in Hawaii we will be dedicating special events and activities for keiki throughout the event.

Q: What are we doing all day?

The event kicks off with an opening ceremony. From there, depending on your ticket tier, you’re able to go to Secret Island or on an Ocean Voyage. If you purchase the Festival Pass you have the opportunity to dive into creative activities we’ll be having throughout the grounds: interactive art, music, and incredible guest speakers.
